Preparing for installation

The smart window handle must only be used in windows and patio doors with no operating faults.

  1. Check to make sure the existing window handle can be moved to the 0° position (locking position).
  2. Check to make sure the existing window handle can be moved to the 90° position (turning position).
  3. For turn-and-tilt windows, check to make sure the existing window handle can be moved to the 180° position (tilt position).
