Checking the locking elements

  1. Open the door.
  2. Turn the key in the locking direction as far as the stop.
  3. Check that the main lock bolt has extended smoothly and fully.
  4. Check that the hook bolt and bolt have extended smoothly and fully.
  5. Push against the main lock bolt.
  6. Check that the main lock bolt cannot be pushed back.
  7. Press against the hook bolt and the bolt.
  8. Check that the hook bolt and bolt cannot be pressed back.
  9. Withdraw the key.
  10. Check whether the lever handle is blocking in versions EA and EB.
  11. In versions EA and EB, insert the key into the cylinder lock and turn in the release direction.
  12. In versions CA and CB, move the lever handle down to the stop.
  13. Check that the main lock bolt has retracted smoothly and fully.
  14. Check that the hook bolt and bolt have extended smoothly and fully.
