Check sash position

  1. Check whether when closing the window sash grinds on the frame or hangs at an angle.
  2. If the locking pin on the locking side moves against the frame, then adjust the side adjustment of the bottom hinge or the corner hinge.

  3. If the sash on the bottom side moves onto the striker plate or the sash lifter, then adjust the side adjustment of the stay.

  4. If the sash on the bottom side moves onto the striker plate or the sash lifter, then adjust the side adjustment of the top hinge.

  5. If the tilt only stay or the locking bolt on the side touches the frame, then adjust the side adjustment of the tilt sash hinge.

  6. If there is a V-joint or A-joint between the centre sash and the connecting sash, then adjust the side adjustment of the surface-mounted turn only hinge.

  7. If the sash on the bottom side moves onto the striker plate or the sash lifter, then adjust the elevating adjustment of the corner hinge.

  8. If the sash on the bottom side moves onto the striker plate or the sash lifter, then adjust the elevating adjustment of the rebate corner hinge.

  9. If the locking bolt on the top side moves against the frame, then adjust the elevating adjustment of the tilt sash hinge.

  10. If the sash on the bottom side moves onto the striker plate or the sash lifter, then adjust the elevating adjustment of the turn only hinge.

  11. If the semi-circular arch stay does not close properly from the tilt position, then adjust the elevating adjustment of the run-up.

  12. If the comfort mushroom cam collides with the frame or runs stiffly into the striker, then press the sleeve of the comfort mushroom cam in manually.

  13. If when closing the sash does not lift, then slip the levelling cap 1.2 or 3 mm onto the sash lift arm of the sash lifter.

  14. If when closing the sash does not lift, then adjust the sash lifter.

  15. If the sash shuts of its own accord, then adjust the brake effect on the carriage of the friction stay.
