Sources of interference

The following sources of interference can adversely affect the smart home network:

• water pipes
• stone and concrete walls
• metal objects
• air-conditioning units
• wireless devices (such as wireless telephones, baby monitors, Bluetooth speakers, etc.)
• wireless networks using the same wireless channels
• external magnetic or electromagnetic sources (e.g. power lines, neodymium magnets, etc.)
