What does "keyless security" mean?

You can choose from one of the following keyless modes:

• none
• touching the device
• smartphone action
• with access credential

None: Bluetooth keyless entry is fully automatic.

• If the access control system (ACS) is detected by the app when you enter the Bluetooth range, it starts measuring the distance for 30 seconds.
• The door is opened automatically if the threshold set (near/medium/far) is crossed within this time.
• If the threshold is not crossed within 30 seconds, no further action is performed in this cycle (entering range to leaving range).

This mode is the least secure keyless mode, as the access control system cannot tell whether the user is approaching the system or walking past it.

Touching the device :Bluetooth keyless entry is achieved by touching the device.

• If the access control system (ACS) is detected by the app when you enter the Bluetooth range, it starts measuring the distance for 30 seconds.
• If the threshold set (near/medium/far) is crossed within this time, the communications master flashes green.
• The door is opened if the device is touched within 30 seconds.
• If the device is not touched within 30 seconds, the communications master stops flashing.
• No other actions are performed in this cycle.
• If the threshold is not crossed within 30 seconds, no further action is performed in this cycle.

Smartphone action: Bluetooth keyless entry is achieved via a notification on the smartphone or tablet.

• If the access control system (ACS) is detected by the app when you enter the Bluetooth range, it starts measuring the distance for 30 seconds.
• If the threshold set (near/medium/far) is crossed within this time, the communications master flashes green.
• A notification is simultaneously sent to the smartphone or tablet.
• The door is opened if the user clicks on the notification within 30 seconds.
• If the user does not click on the notification within 30 seconds, it is deleted. The communications master stops flashing. No other actions are performed in this cycle.
• If the threshold is not crossed within 30 seconds, no further action is performed in this cycle (entering range to leaving range).

With access credential: Bluetooth keyless entry is achieved using a stored access credential on the device. The access credential may be a fingerprint, a PIN code or a transponder key.
